Illness or Accident at School

If your child becomes ill while at school we will make them as comfortable as possible and then, if necessary, contact either yourself or one of the emergency contacts.

If your child is unwell before coming to school it is important that you keep them at home.  This will prevent other children and staff from becoming infected.

Minor accidents will be dealt with in school by staff and/or our trained First Aider.  Accidents are recorded in our accident book.  If the injury is to a child’s head, we will telephone you and send a letter home.

If the accident requires further treatment, we will inform you or an emergency contact immediately.
