Welcome to Sacred Heart Primary School

We are a co-educational Nursery and Primary School located in East End of Glasgow.

Our  School includes classes Primary 1 to Primary 7 and our team of teachers and supporting staff provide tailored, engaging learning experiences for our learners in line with Scotland’s Curriculum for Excellence. Children are encouraged to flourish in their learning through experiencing challenge and support, and as a team we are committed to meeting the needs of our learners in line with the policy Getting It Right for Every Child.

Our school day begins at 9am and ends at 3pm. Our school playgrounds are supervised from 8.45am

Children can attend Breakfast Club from 8.15am in our school hall and over the course of the year a number of afterschool clubs also run to provide children with further, wider experiences in their learning and opportunities to experience success and achievement.

Our school is a Roman Catholic Primary in which our learning and approaches are informed by and closely linked to Gospel Values. We share close partnerships with the Parish of Sacred Heart  and the  Clergy of the Church, in particular Fr Peter Dowling.
